Returns, Right of Withdrawal, Open Purchase and Complaints – Wall-it

1. Statutory right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
For purchases of goods, the withdrawal period normally begins at the time that follows from applicable law after the goods have been received.
2. How to notify us that you are withdrawing from the purchase
Wall-it provides an electronic withdrawal function on the website.
The function is available via the website footer.
You provide the details needed to identify yourself and the order or product the withdrawal concerns.
You do not need to give any reason for withdrawing from the purchase. Any question about the reason is optional.
Once your electronic withdrawal notice has been sent, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt.
You can also notify us at pfp@wall-it.nu or use the Swedish Consumer Agency's (Konsumentverket) standard withdrawal form.
Wall-it's own form is therefore not the only way to exercise the right of withdrawal.
3. Returns under the right of withdrawal
After you have notified us that you are withdrawing from the purchase, the item must be returned within the time that follows from applicable law.
Under the ordinary right of withdrawal, the customer bears the direct cost of return shipping.
You can choose between:
Arranging the return yourself
You choose a suitable carrier yourself and pay the carrier directly.
We recommend a trackable shipment and that you keep the drop-off receipt.
Return label from Wall-it
Wall-it can offer a prepaid PostNord return label.
We create the label and send it to you by email. The parcel can then be dropped off at a relevant PostNord service point.
If Wall-it's return label is used, the actual return shipping cost is deducted from the refund.
Wall-it's return label is an optional alternative.

4. Condition of the product and diminished value
You have the right to examine the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
If the product has been handled more than was necessary and this causes a diminished value, Wall-it may, where the law permits, make a reasonable deduction corresponding to the diminished value.
The product must be packed in a suitable and secure manner for the return transport.
5. Refund under the right of withdrawal
When you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, Wall-it refunds the amounts to be refunded under applicable law.
If the entire order is withdrawn, the cost of Wall-it's standard delivery to the customer is also refunded.
If the customer chose a more expensive delivery option than the standard delivery, Wall-it is not required to refund the additional cost of the more expensive option.
If Wall-it's return label is used, the direct return shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.
Wall-it does not charge any separate administrative fee or handling fee for the customer exercising their statutory right of withdrawal.
Wall-it may withhold the refund until the item has been received back or the customer has shown that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The refund is normally made using the same payment method that was used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in situations where a statutory exception applies.
This may, for example, concern a product that has been made to the customer's specific instructions or that has otherwise been clearly personalised.
When such an exception applies, the customer is informed of this before the purchase.
7. 365-day open purchase
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Wall-it voluntarily offers a 365-day open purchase.
After the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the voluntary open purchase applies provided that:
- the product is unused,
- the product is in a condition that allows it to be resold,
- the purchase can be identified by, for example, an order number, order confirmation or receipt.
The open purchase does not apply to custom-made or personalised products.
Wall-it's voluntary open purchase never limits the customer's statutory right to make a complaint.
8. Returns under the open purchase after the withdrawal period
The customer bears the return shipping cost when using Wall-it's voluntary open purchase.
The customer can:
- arrange and pay for their own return shipping, or
- request Wall-it's PostNord return label.
If Wall-it's return label is used, the actual return shipping cost is deducted from the refund.
Under the voluntary open purchase after the statutory withdrawal period, the product price is refunded.
The original delivery cost is not refunded when using the voluntary open purchase after the statutory withdrawal period has expired.
9. Complaints
If a product is defective, select Complaint in Wall-it's return and complaint function or contact pfp@wall-it.nu.
For a complaint, we may ask for, for example:
- order number,
- contact details,
- which product the matter concerns,
- a description of the defect,
- photos or other relevant documentation.
In the case of a justified complaint, Wall-it bears the necessary return shipping costs.
10. Wrong product or transport damage
If you receive the wrong product or if the product appears to have been damaged during transport, you should contact us as soon as possible.
Photos of the product, the packaging and any visible damage can help us handle the matter.
